Cynthia Yamasaki, Chief Energizing Officer and Founder of EEpath, has more than three decades of business experience, working in a variety of leadership roles in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Her multi-faceted background, extensive training, and local values provide her with an unparalleled perspective on business consulting and career-life coaching. She is passionate about empowering and energizing leaders for a better world.
Cynthia was a Better Business Bureau Hawai‘i Torch Awards Nominee in 2017. She was named the Women in Business Champion by the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2014 for her leadership and services for women in business as the founding director of the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership at the YWCA of O‘ahu.
Cynthia Yamasaki established EEpath in 2007 with the mission to help professionals to lead and live well. She coaches business owners, executives, managers, and young professionals to excel as leaders who reach their highest potential and enjoy a self-fulfilling, harmonious life.
Cynthia’s previous leadership roles include working as the founding director of the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership at the YWCA of O‘ahu; the vice president of workforce development at First Hawaiian Bank; the vice president of human resources at Title Guaranty of Hawaii; the vice president of human resources at GE Capital of Hawai‘i; the training administrator and revenue manager at Sprint. She also worked in higher education, finance, and banking.
Raised in Hawai‘i, she holds an MBA in global management from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in finance from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Cynthia is certified as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, accredited Color Accounting workshop leader; certified as a corporate trainer and as a wellness counselor.
Cynthia volunteers as a mentor for AdUp Hawai‘i, Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship, and the East-West Center’s Changing Faces Women’s Leadership. She serves as on the Chinese Chamber of Commerce Hawai‘i Board; a member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Kapolei Chamber of Commerce, Society of Human Resources, and Association for Training and Development.
