Elizabeth (Beth) McLemore Lum graduated with a B.A. degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma Baptist University and taught in schools on the mainland and in Hawaii for seven years. As a fundraising consultant, she has helped to secure over $250 million for various non-profit organizations in Hawaii over the past 24 years.
For the past four years, Beth has served as an instructor for the Weinberg Fellows and Castle Colleagues Programs. Beth was also a featured speaker for the 2007 Hawaii Tourism Authority’s Annual Festivals and Events Conference on Oahu and the Neighbor Islands and a finalist for the 2006 PBN Businesswomen of the Year Award.
She was past board president of Moiliili Community Center and continues to serve on their board. She also serves on the Board of the Hawaii Baptist Academy Alumni Association and was recently elected as Vice Chair of the Mayors Honolulu Committee on the Status of Women. Beth also served on the board of the Hawaii Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) from 2011-2012.
