I have always been fascinated with the challenges of personal and organizational improvement. During my voluntary stints presenting management training courses, I was awed by its power to dramatically transform lives, and I left the corporate world to open my own consultancy.
While looking for core principles when addressing the widest variety of industries, specialties, and problems – I discovered that problems all have same basic origin. They all relate to the quality of the relationships involved. Driving the quality of the relationships are the perspectives that affect the choice of our personal and corporate priorities. My practice now specializes in working with shaping perspectives (paradigms), as the most powerful tool in overcoming issues of every type, at the corporate, group or personal level.
The power of this simple formula, and its positive approach to the most negative situations has attracted clients who favor a results-oriented, scientific approach, one that provides them with a sense of control and peace of mind.
Our problems are symptoms! We have problems when we don’t see how we are generating them ourselves. It’s a matter of perspective. For example, the most overlooked asset an organization can have is one that is seldom on their radar– the ability of its people to work collaboratively for the success of the company. The fact that it is not one of its most urgent objectives is evidence that its true importance is not perceived.
Because things that are a priority come from a particular perspective, when results in an area are wanting, the reason is due less to leadership than a lack of the proper perspective, for that situation.
Armed with this understanding, leaders can spend more time designing their organization’s capabilities and less time pushing them to do things they’re not designed to do. These unrealistic expectations are what are commonly viewed as “problems”. It is the successful company that obtains the edge with more success-producing perspectives than its rivals.
The value we bring to clients is the means to support their goals with powerful perspectives which drive to the heart of their desired results. Undesirable features such as missed goals, apathy and poor communication are not problems but unintended byproducts of a perspective whose priorities produce those things.
Our unique approach has been reshaping organizations and lives for over fifteen years. The process is an uplifting journey of discovery and the results can be quite amazing.
